Motor
The following instances of liability
Although we do cover you for general liability towards third parties, this does not include the following specific cases:
○ compensation payable by any compulsory motor-vehicle insurance legislation
○ death of, or bodily injury to:
– a member of your family who usually resides with you
– any person being carried in a vehicle, a trailer or caravan, or on the pillion of any motorcycle, scooter,
three-wheeled vehicle or in a golf cart
– any person on or getting in or out of a motorcycle, scooter, golf cart, three-wheeled vehicle or quad-
bike
– an employee, other than domestic staff of you or your family, who is killed or injured in the course of
their employment
– any person who has the right to claim from the Road Accident Fund Act, 56 of 1996, or any similar
legislated fund, regardless of whether it is financially able to pay the compensation that is being sought
– death of, or bodily injury to any person, arising directly from the fact that your vehicle is unroadworthy
○ damage to property belonging to your family that is in your custody or held in trust
○ damage to property arising directly from the fact that your vehicle is unroadworthy
○ damage to property carried in your vehicle, or any trailer or caravan attached to it.
