 10.3 The following documentation is required:
General Procedures
  10. SASRIA CLAIMS
10.1 SASRIA requires that they be informed of a claim within 30 days. Therefore, the claimant must notify the binder holder who in turn, must inform Hollard Insure within 30 (thirty) days from the date of loss.
10.2 Notification with attached documentation needs to be mailed to the following Hollard claims email addresses:

    A detailed breakdown of confirmation of premium to SASRIA as at the date of loss
    Confirmation of premium to the binder holder and Hollard Insure
   At least 2 (two) quotations for repair/replacement
    Confirmation of the riot
     10.4 Any SASRIA claims (Motor or Non-motor) should be reported to Hollard Insure and on receipt Hollard Insure will further engage with SASRIA.
10.5 SASRIA will attend to the Motor and Non-motor claims processes.
10.6 In the event of a valid claim, the agreement of loss/release form will be prepared by SASRIA.
10.7 Salvage is managed by the assessor or salvage team at Hollard Insure.
10.8 In the event that the claim is not valid in terms of the SASRIA policy, SASRIA will prepare the rejection letter and will forward it to Hollard Insure. On receipt, the letter will be sent to the binder holder.
10.9 Late notifications will attract penalties.
10.10 Liability can only be accepted or declined by SASRIA, not Hollard Insure or the binder holder.
10.11 SASRIA Limited Perils
In terms of the SASRIA policy wording, SASRIA will cover loss of, or damage to the property claimant directly related to or caused by:

any act (whether on behalf of any organisation, body or person, or group of persons) calculated or directed to overthrow or influence any state or government, or any provincial, local, or tribal authority with force, or by means of fear, terrorism, or violence
any act which is calculated or directed to bring about loss or damage in order to further any political aim, objective, or cause, or to bring about any social or economic change, or in protest against any state or government, or any provincial, local, or tribal authority, or for the purpose of inspiring fear in the public, or any section thereof
