Motor
Non-road vehicles
Non-road vehicles will be covered only while:
○ used in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications
○ used in accordance with NRT Regulations.
For products where the non-road vehicle section is not available on the system yet, these vehicles must be loaded under
the Motorcycle section.
Driver’s licence validation
Below is a table of the various driver’s licence types.

Motorcycle with or without side-car, three- wheeler, quad-bike.
A learner’s licence in respect of a motorcycle shall not authorise the holder of it to drive a motorcycle on a public road while carrying another person.
Code 2
Motor vehicle, other than a motorcycle, three-wheeler or quad-bike, the tare of which does not exceed 3 500 kilograms, a mini-bus, bus or goods vehicle the gross vehicle mass of which does not exceed
3 500 kilograms, an articulated motor vehicle or combination of a motor vehicle and trailer of which the gross combination mass of the truck-tractor or towing vehicle does not exceed 3 500 kilograms, or a tractor.
A learner’s licence shall not authorise the driving of a motor vehicle while carrying persons for reward.

Any motor vehicle other than a motorcycle, three-wheeler or quad-bike.
