Renovating mostly refers to the upgrading of an existing building. Addition and alteration projects are common in our community as existing buildings are transformed into something new, to last into the new generation. With soring building costs, the renovation option becomes more popular each day.
Changes are not only required for homes. We have dealt with many commercial buildings that required additions and changes to the existing. Even transforming residential zoned properties to business zoning and vice versa. Homes have been changed into offices & restaurants. Office buildings have been changed into multi-storey flat blocks. Parts of Shopping Centres have been changed into office space. The challenge is to know what it takes to alter a building and to comply with the institutional requirements.
