Annexure A: Treaty Exclusions
3.17 Aviation Liability and airport control tower liability policies and Products Liability policies of manufacturers of:
3.17.1 aircraft and/or
3.17.2 the following aircraft components:

3.18 Products Liability
aircraft fuselage
wings and all structural parts
landing gears
tyres
engines and engine components – propellers fuel systems
electronic and electrical equipment hydraulic equipment
aircraft instruments
Policies issued to companies or plants involved in the manufacture or production of:
3.18.1 fireworks, ammunition, fuses, cartridges, gunpowder, Nitroglycerine or any explosive unless purely incidental to the main operations of the insured
3.18.2 gases and/or air under pressure in containers unless purely incidental to the main operation of the insured
3.18.3 butane, methane, propane and other liquefied gases
3.18.4 poisonous substances and toxic waste.
3.19 Liability arising from the storage and processing of petroleum and gasoline at refineries, except for liability arising out of activities carried out by engineering contractors at such refineries.
3.20 Fines, Penalties,Vindictive, punitive and/or exemplary damages.
4. Applicable To Public/Product Liability
4.1 Policies without a local Jurisdiction Clause. (This does not apply to Contractors Insurance Public Liability and Lateral Support Public Liability).
4.2 Products Liability Policies issued to companies/operations involved in the manufacture, production, mixing and/or labelling of:
4.2.1 Insecticides, herbicides or Pesticides.
4.2.2 Chemical or Pharmaceutical products of a hazardous nature.
4.2.3 Medical equipment and dressings.
4.3 Any liability arising from the ownership, operation, or use of:
4.3.1 Motor vehicles or motor cycles unless as underwritten in terms of a Motor Policy.
4.3.2 Waste disposal sites other than domestic waste disposal sites.
4.4 Products Liability in respect of manufacture of automobiles and/or motor cycles and trucks including manufacturers of all mechanical parts vital to the functionality of the vehicles being the steering systems, braking systems, drive train system (i.e. includes transmission system, the differentials and engine) and suspension.
It is further agreed that the retailers liability for goods sold and supplied shall be covered hereunder, however, the retailers liability for goods for which the retailer is liable as manufacturer shall always remain excluded.
4.5 RC Décennale (Responsabilité Civile Professionnelle) or any policies where ten year liability coverage is granted.
4.6 Blood Banks and Blood Products.
