Pulling the Weight By Karis Malkin

Forbidden Warmth By Pin Valley
I’m so tired,
The stench of death surrounds us Beautiful and angelic,
But slowly deteriorating. Rather than fade,
the darkness stays
While losing my brain, Thoughts stray from the page. An unknown warmth consumes me, Comfortable but confused
The sun may be forgotten,
But still peels the ice off bones. It won’t be here tomorrow,
So you won’t have to hide for long This feeling is everlasting,
I’m shaking although warm.
