CLEANING AND DISINFECTING
CLEANING
• Wear disposable gloves while cleaning.
• Clean surfaces using soap and water, then
use disinfectant.
• Practice routine cleaning--especially
high touch surfaces.
• Have a regular cleaning staff.
• Wash hands often after cleaning for at least
20 seconds.
CLEANING WITH SOAP AND WATER REDUCES NUMBER OF GERMS. DISINFECTING KILLS GERMS ON SURFACES.
