Mirror

I was looking at myself in a two way mirror, with the world looking at me from the other side. But the only thing I saw was my dirty reflection in the old mirror before me. Alone and staring.
You hit the window from the other side. The reflection cracked. Some of the dirt was shaken off. I blinked. I couldn’t see you, but I wanted to. The first thing I wanted in forever.
