Somehow you pulled me in with all your charms I thought you were the one that I could trust, My friend, my guard, my knight in shining arms Yet now I know that armor’s left to rust.
But now I see the rust’s began to lift
Dissolved through your attempt to make things right; You have become the dad that I have missed
You have regained the title as my knight
