When asked to pick out a Distinguished Educator, I immediately thought of Mr. Tipton. I can never think of a day, except for maybe test days, when he did not put a smile on my face. Although math may not be my favorite subject, Mr. Tipton provided a positive learning experience of which I wanted to be part. I was lucky enough to be his student for three years, all of which were filled with laughs, pie, and a little bit of math. Thank you for everything, Mr. Tipton.
