Emily Petrik, known to most of us as Profe Petrik, has a positive spirit, capable of infecting anyone in her classroom. She has taught me the importance of kindness and the benefits of a positive attitude for myself and the people around me. Without her ability to coax people outside of their comfort zones, I would not have a second home in Almería, Spain, and I would not be the person I am today. Thank you, Profe, for always being a friend and for guiding me through so much.
