While I have had countless amazing educators, my 7th grade math teacher, Mr. Roberts, made an immeasurable difference in my education. I have always struggled with math. I was always confused and felt helpless. But in seventh grade, every time I was lost, Mr. Roberts would patiently re-explain each concept to me. When I couldn’t grasp something, he would come up with a new approach to the problem. Mr. Roberts was able to teach me in a way I understood. I don’t know where I would be without
his help.
