I moved to Helena during the summer between my freshman and sophomore years. I went into my first day
of Capital High School knowing nothing and no one. Thank goodness for my English teacher. Ms. Rummel has a wonderful heart. Her spirit is contagious and her teaching is impactful. Because of her, I rediscovered joy in reading and writing. It was her confidence in me that inspired my confidence in myself. As I leave school with plans to pursue a future in storytelling, I owe thanks to Ms. Rummel.
