Mrs. Bundt believed in me. Beforehand I had never really liked school and preferred to stay home. With her, I felt listened to and cared about. I honestly doubt I would have pursued school as much as I have without Mrs. Bundt.
One of my fondest memories was when I had to get my appendix removed and while I was recovering from surgery, I found out she and my classmates had sent me letters telling me to feel better, all of which I still have.
Sometimes the little things are what matter most.
