Intermountain Heating and Air Conditioning is a family-owned and operated business that has been in business since 1994. We have been proudly serving the Helena and surrounding area for 25 years and are very proud of our employees!
We have been Trane Comfort Specialists since 2001 and maintain excellent customer satisfaction ratings as a result of Trane customer surveys. We o er more than 100 years of combined design, installation, and service experience, and strongly support education and training to keep all employees at the top of the HVAC industry.
Let our experience help you with these heating & A/C tips for your home or business:
1. Filter changes: Filters should be changed regularly because of everyday dust and particles. 1’’ lters every 1-2 months, 2’’ lters every 2-3 months, or 4’’ lters should be every 3-4 months. (If you have pets in the home or have three or more people living in your home, it could require more frequent changes.)
2. Yearly maintenance: It’s always good to have a yearly maintenance for warranty and peace of mind! There are parts on furnaces and air conditioners that should be cleaned from buildup and to make sure they are operating properly at all times.
3. Zoning: When building a larger home or adding on, you should always discuss zoning for your comfort. Zoning will keep multi-level or large homes at desired temperatures throughout the home.
4. Programmable thermostats: This will help in energy savings and home comfort. You can set your desired temperatures for your daily schedule!
5. Whole home systems: When building your home, you should always try to have a whole home system that includes a furnace, air conditioner, clean e ects, humidi er, range hood, replaces, dryer vents, bathroom vents and much more. Some of these items may not be needed for every home, but purchasing and installing them at the same time will save headaches and money. (Did you know that HVAC systems are one of the largest purchases in a
home system that you will make?)
Our company does a wide range of work from residential new construction, retro t, and simple change outs. We also specialize in medium to small commercial projects. These di erent styles of installs o er more services to our customers including steam humidi ers, shop unit heaters, replaces, heat recovery ventilators, metal fabrication, dryer venting, range hoods and much more.
