My first time stepping onto the CHS stage in Theater 1, I felt my shoes shake on the wood and my heartbeat in my throat. I heard Brayko from the audience encouraging me and, with her start, the entire class cheered me on. Within seconds I felt safe.
This would quickly become a common feeling, a feeling that
I was wanted and belonged. Brayko fosters this feeling for everyone and works to ensure that each of us grows into powerful, passionate individuals. Personally, she’s my mentor and lifelong friend.
