What made Mrs. Blotkamp’s class so engaging was the passion with which she approached every conversation. She had a self-admitted habit of getting sidetracked from lessons to engage in a conversation with us, and even told us to make a “bunny ear” gesture to remind her when she was “going down a rabbit hole”. Her enthusiasm for life and learning in those moments of getting sidetracked was contagious, and inspired many of her students to stay curious and remain true to
our passions.
