ARCHIE BRAY FOUNDATION FOR THE CERAMIC ARTS
What: Founded in 1951, the foundation works to provide an environment that stimulates creative work in ceramics. It is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and regularly houses artists-in-residence.
Where: 2915 Country Club Drive
When: The grounds are open during daylight hours for self guided tours. Pick-up a map in the white mail box located on your right as you enter the grounds.

What: Grandstreet is Montana’s premiere community theatre with over 40 years of continuous service. Sustained by volunteers from an exceptionally talented population, Grandstreet also trains over 400 K-12 students each year in our nationally recognized Grandstreet Theatre School. Each year the theatre produces and performs 10- 12 plays and musicals in a beautifully preserved 200-seat turn-of-the-century Romanesque granite church and an additional 45-seat black box studio. Grandstreet enjoys tremendous public support and regularly produces some of the best live theatre in the Northwest.

HELENA SYMPHONY AND CHORALE What: Founded in 1955, the Helena Symphony Orchestra is a 75-member regional professional orchestra. The 90-member Helena Symphony Chorale performs with the Helena Symphony Orchestra 4-6 times a year. The Symphony performs six subscription concerts each
season. The non-subscription concerts include The Nutcracker with Queen City Ballet, youth programs, holiday programs, and the Symphony Under the Stars, a free, outdoor summer performance at Carroll College that attracts over 12,000 people. In addition, the Helena Symphony produces a fully-stage production of an opera every season.
Where: The Helena Symphony performs in the Helena Civic Center, the largest concert hall
in Montana, 340 Neill Avenue as well as the Cathedral of Saint Helena, 530 N Ewing St.

HOLTER MUSEUM OF ART
What: Located in the heart of downtown, this museum hosts nationally known and local artists, with new shows opening every six weeks. Shop at the Holter Museum store for unique, handmade, gifts by local and regional artists. Free admission.

MONTANA’S MUSEUM AT THE MONTANA HISTORICAL SOCIETY
What: Museum houses a variety of exhibits including the Montana Historical Society’s permanent collection of Charles M. Russell’s Western paintings and sculptures. Also, look for the Museum Store which features gifts and books related to the history of Montana and the West along with an array of Montana souvenirs.
Where: 225 N. Roberts Street across from the Capitol in the Montana Historical Society building.

MONTANA SHAKESPEARE COMPANY What: Emphasizing the works of William Shakespeare, MSC presents dynamic and powerful productions which enrich, enlighten, and entertain audiences of all ages. With a company of actors from across the nation, MSC is the Treasure State’s resident Shakespeare company, performing full- length productions of the Bard’s great works and other classics under starry summer skies in the Capital City.
