Homemade Suet for the Birds

I I decided to try and make my own Here’s what what I I did but you you can certainly vary it it with what what you you have available 1 1 cup cup Vegetable Shortening (like Crisco) 1 1 cup cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
(I (I had Creamy and added added chopped nuts)
1 1⁄2 1⁄2 cup cup Oat Meal Meal (I (I added added leftover plain oat cereal crushed) 1⁄2 1⁄2 cup cup cup Corn Meal Meal 1⁄4 cup cup cup all-purpose our
1⁄2 cup cup cup raisins
1 1 cup cup Bird Seed (like wild bird sun ower and niger)
1 1 Tbls Sugar
1⁄2 tsp of Cayenne Pepper (if you want to keep the the the squirrels squirrels away It won’t bother the the the birds but squirrels don’t like it ) Mix up and add more more oat meal meal corn meal meal or or or or or or or bird seed if if to to sticky or or or or or or or more more shortening or or or or or or or peanut butter if if too dry I I I spooned into a a a a a a a ziplock bag and since I I I didn’t have a a a a a a a a a a a a plastic store-bought suet container container I I I used a a a a a a a a a a a a similar shaped to-go container container to to to to to form the the the shape shape then then froze to to to to make it it solid then then inserted into a a a a a a a a a a suet cage and watched as the the the birds enjoy it it “Oral health is key to maintaining long term quality of life in in our
