Community Foundation says schedule early for Colorado Gives Day
Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) invites Coloradans to support e orts to inspire generosity, champion awareness and support nonpro ts in Douglas County by scheduling their donations early for Colorado Gives Day, December 10, 2019.
Presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving. The event is powered by Colorado- Gives.org, a year-round, online giving website. Enter “Douglas County Community Foundation” in the website search box for DCCF’s pro le on the site and make your safe and secure donation in a few easy steps.
“The donations we receive on Colorado Gives Day help us do more to support the community and ensure that the important work of our local nonpro ts is highlighted, that donors are encouraged to “Give Where You Live” and that donations stay in Douglas County,” says Donna Scott, Chairman of the Board. “Our goal this year is to increase the number of donations by 15 percent. We also want to take advantage of the incentive funds o ered to participants of Gives Day.”
