oin us for a volunteer activity, or learning more about conserva- tion at the Earth Day Festival. It will be a day to act, learn and enjoy.
For more than a decade, residents have helped the Town of Castle Rock celebrate Earth Day by pitching in to restore disturbed areas at Philip S. Miller Park or along Sellars Gulch in Downtown Castle Rock. This year, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, volunteers will plant native grasses at Festival Park and remove invasive plants, including watercress, in the park and along Sellars Gulch. Volunteers must pre-register.
