Manytimesitisthecaregiver’s health that deteriorates  rst due to the demands of taking care of someone with dementia. The demands are constant and intense and, without the support from others on that same path, almost unbearable.
Castle Rock Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support offers monthly support groups that provide caregivers with the skills they need to be as e ective and knowledgeable as possible. Attending a monthly support group can be one of the most important steps a caregiver takes, knowing they are not alone, having the opportunity to say what they are feeling in a supportive environment, and learning new strategies from others on the same path.
The Castle Rock Caregivers Support Group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month. All meetings and classes are free and open to caregivers. For ad- ditional information and details please call 720-733-0491.
