It was a SMASH Hit in Cherry Creek
Event director Anthony Constantino Jr.
wrapped up his very successful Smash
Fine Arts Festival in Cherry Creek
North last month. It was held in the
very exclusive and world renowned Fillmore Plaza, the absolute spine and heart of the Cherry Creek North District. Crowds were spectacular, artists sales were o the charts, and all local businesses were ecstatic. There were 27 top shelf ne artists, in painting, photography, mixed media, drawing, sculpture, wood, metal, and jewelry. Local favorite Pasta Pasta catered the event. Perpetual Motion played violin and acoustic guitar music on Saturday, and Klaudia Raab performed on Sunday.
Anthony worked very diligently to make sure his show still happened amidst the current tumultuous landscape, as he did with his Castle Pines Village show this past July. He sacri ces a lot to stand up and ght for working artists, to give them the best opportunity to succeed with promotion and most importantly sales. In 2017 he held a silent art auction at Cluster Studios Denver giving back 100% of bid sales to participating artists, which had never been done before. This powerful statement having artists’ backs had an immediate impact and in uence on shifting the needle back to the artists’ corner where it belongs.
Whether it be igniting the art scene in Castle Rock, putting on shows in Castles Pines and Cherry Creek, as well as the Vistas at Park Meadows Retail Resort, he time and time again demonstrates his dedication to the art and cultural community.
Keep an eye out on what he and his agency
Smash in the Square have in store for us next!
