Castle Rock & Parker Resident Information
“WHAT is that massive construction going on east of the Outlets?”
Here’s your answer...
Castle Rock will soon be welcoming a new age- healthy senior living facility, known as BridgeWater, scheduled to open early 2023. This $44 million proj- ect is currently under construction in unincorporated Douglas County and is located at 3997 Home Street in Castle Rock, CO. BridgeWater will offer breathtaking panoramic views of Castle Rock as it sits high upon a mesa just East of Interstate 25 and Founders Parkway. This Senior Living community will consist of 142 rooms offering 6 unique oor plans including 1 and 2 bedroom units for Independent Living, 1 bedroom units for Assisted Living, and studio units for Memory Care. This 130,000 square foot state of the art facility will offer advanced medical technology such as a high tech bracelet device to gather key data for each senior resident. This device will help provide a baseline for each resident by mon- itoring activities such as eating and sleeping habits as well as their mobility and location throughout the day. Any changes in their pattern of activity will alert the staff to proactively review their individual situation to determine any potential health issues. BridgeWater will also offer amenities such as full service restaurant style dining, arts and craft spaces, scenic walking trails, and sunken outdoor gardens.
Solterra Companies is the developer for BridgeWater in Castle Rock. They have developed a number of high quality Senior Independent and Assisted Living com-
munities throughout
Arizona. This will be
their rst age-healthy
community in Colora-
do. Steve Jorgenson,
the CEO and President
of Solterra, chose to
build this senior living
community in Castle
Rock as he felt this
area was under-developed with regards to senior living. Solterra already had a skilled nursing facility in town as well. There will be an executive director/general manager in place to answer questions and help with reservations in the near future. However, if you have any questions about BridgeWater and the amenities that will be offered you can contact Peter DeMangus directly at 303-228-3721 for additional assistance.
There will be employment opportunities such as care- givers, dining staff, and other positions available once the construction is closer to completion. BridgeWater plans to hold a job fair in the next few months as well. Included are a few renderings that I received from the developer depicting what BridgeWater will look like upon completion.
