Specialty Insurance: Toys in By Paula Thielen, at the Joe Thielen Farmers Insurance Agency
“Toys” are motorized recreational vehicles (ATVs, Travel Trailers, Snowmobiles, Motor Homes, Boats, etc.) our Toyland is the adventurous state of Colorado.
Motorcycles will soon be replaced by snowmobiles in our winter wonderland. It is time to review the need for specialtyinsurance. Didyouknow...thehomeowners policy and the personal auto policy are not designed to handle the potential risk or exposure of your toy? Thereforethepotentialexistsforan insurancecoverage gap. A “gap” in insurance coverage looms over your recreational fun time causing an angst that can be easily solved with a call to your Insurance agent.
You always need to be aware of safety for yourself, your passengers and even provide monetary protection for your investment. What if... you are in accident, or your toy is stolen, it costs money to x or replace your toy. What if... you or your passengers are injured in an accident, medical costs can be extremely expensive. What if... your toy is responsible for damage or injury to others, you may be sued for more money than you are worth. Wouldn’t it make sense to have others help you pay for those costs?
It is easier and less expensive when you take full advantageofmulti-policycredits. Eachadditionalpolicy stacks additional credits with Farmers. (This really makes sense when our “Toyland” is a higher priced insurance state.) Toy insurance provides great coverage at a great price while providing great peace of mind.
