Thurs. September 7, 6:30-8:30pm - BEGINNING GENEALOGY Fall is back to school time, and it is the perfect time to refresh and renew your genealogy work. Please join us for this basic course designed for the beginner. We will touch on how to use records you might already have in your home, how to decide what you need to learn, how and where to  nd the records, analyze them and record them! We’ll introduce pedigree charts, group sheets and much more! Start your ancestor search by taking this class and learning the ropes. Register now!

“Taking stock: identifying the Holes in Your Research and
Developing a solid Research Plan” with Mona Lambrecht, MA This lecture will provide various ideas in developing timelines, document analysis and creating research plans for organizational and research success. Mona Lambrecht is a museum curator, social historian, and genealogist who specializes in researching history at the local level. She focuses on uncovering the details that place individuals and families into the historical context of their communities. Mona is currently the curator of the Heritage Center, a small museum at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Tues., September 19, 10:00am-noon - PRACTICAL GENEALOGY This workshop is designed for the person who has taken the Beginning Genealogy class and who now would like to learn tips and tricks of using their software, how to search on Ancestry. com, FamilySearch.org, how to tap into other resources, and how to organize their digital and paper  les. Please register, and since it is designed as a workshop, bring questions and your laptop.
