Multigenerational travel is very popular these days. When grandparents, mom, dad, and the grand- children take a trip together, it builds family unity and allows lasting memories to be created. More and more, grandparents are realizing it’s more important to leave memories than to leave money. I know in my family my older grandchildren still bring up memories of vacations we have taken with them. I wouldn’t trade those mem- ories for anything!

are so diverse? A really easy way to keep everyone happy is to decide on a vacation that has something to please everyone. For many, a cruise is a perfect solution. It is important to choose a ship that is family oriented both onboard and on shore. Many cruise lines now o er their own private island for an all-day fun- lled adventure. Grandparents and parents agree that nothing makes them happier than seeing the children happy and having a wonderful time.
If cruising isn’t for you there are so many other vaca- tions to choose from. How about a Guided Vacation to Europe, a beach vacation or even Disney? Learn about past cultures with a visit to one of the Mayan ruins in Mexico or an ancient temple in Greece. Experience nature by visiting a turtle farm in the Cayman Islands or a musher camp in Alaska. There are wonderful tours here in the U.S. and in the Caribbean where you can visit plantations from the past. You can nd something for everyone!
This week I am o on my own family vacation with one of my granddaughters for our own family cruise for the week. This is something we look forward to with our grandkids every year!
