Fireworks are a highlight of most Independence Day celebrations, and the Town of Castle Rock has you covered for the traditional show.
Similar to years past, reworks will shoot off from the top of Santa Fe Quarry Mesa at sundown (about 9:30 p.m.) The 6,700-foot butte is located just south of The Meadows, above Red Hawk
Ridge Golf Course.
About the reworks show
The high- ying show will be about 18 minutes long. You’ll know the reworks are about to begin, because there will be a three-shot salute 5 minutes before the show starts. A similar reworks salute will also happen about 1 minute prior to the show.
The reworks should be seen from most places in Town. However, visibility may be limited in Crystal Valley Ranch, Plum Creek, Founders, Castlewood Ranch and Sapphire Pointe. If you’re parking in neighborhoods to see the show, please be courteous of driveways and adhere to any posted neighborhood parking restrictions. Also, parking along major streets and roadways will be limited.
Personal
