of Uravan. In the 1950’s business was booming on the Western Slope, Uranium was all the rage and Grand Junc- tion was at the heart of it all. So, why did Grand Junction survive while competing Uravan (to the south) disappear completely? Admission is free. Refreshments will be served at 6:45 pm with the presentation starting at 7:00 pm. As a home rule municipality, the Town of Castle Rock has its own set of local laws and codes. From time to time, those local laws need to be reviewed. The Town has undertaken a comprehensive review of the Town’s Code related to an- imals. Join us Wed., January 31 from 6-8pm at Town Hall Council Chambers, 100 N.
