The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged], is a parody o f Shakespeare's plays performed by only three players in a comically reduced version. I have expanded that number to twelve actors, each playing multiple roles. The cast ofthis production is made up of intrepid thespians who have studied The Bard and his plays, as well as his iambic pentameter and language use. They have mastered the art of comedic timing, stage falls, stage combat, and
just how quick a "quick-change" really is. They have played a variety o f characters with grace and confidence, giving them their own unique touch. What you see on stage is borne from their talents and dedication to making this show as entertaining as it can be.
Seventh Grade Language Arts students, in their class sections, presented parts o f A Midsummer Night's Dream under the oak tree on the Primary campus. The performers were assigned parts and were encouraged to dress up, to act and to fully understand their lines. Third graders, teachers and other 7th and 8th grade students were invited to watch.
