An abyss of blessings must draw forth an abyss of gratitude, fidelity and love. Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat
Our dear Madeleine Sophie has not only left us the thriving legacy of Sacred Heart schools worldwide, but a wealth of words which continue to inspire us today.
So I have quoted Saint Madeleine Sophie again, as we have quoted her countless times during my tenure as yearbook advisor, because these words are the best expression of my sentiments.
I am so grateful for all my wonderful years at Carrollton. I am particularly grateful to Sisters Cooke and Seitz, Lourdes Wood and Debbie Rollheiser who welcomed me all those years ago. I am also grateful to Sister Taylor, my colleagues, the parents, and the students - especially those who have worked with me with love and dedication from my first yearbook in 2006 through this, my final edition.
Eighteen is a lot of yearbooks. But here I would like to invite you to take a look at some of my favorites, which may give you insight into our Sacred Heart heritage. You can find them in the school offices, in the archives and on the portal under resources.

To the heart and soul of the Carrollton yearbook for the past 18 years, Mrs. Banks, it is with immense gratitude that we thank you for the dedication, service, and love that you have imparted to generations of Carrollton students and on us personally. You have been an integral part of our high school experience - not only in teaching us how to be great journalists, but also in how to be good people. Thank you for always giving your absolute best to making things special for our community. The Carrollton community will miss you terribly, and so will we. To our mentor, and role model, this is not a goodbye but a "see you later."
With much love,
Viola Lake '23 and Daniella Milton '23 (your FAVES)
