Junior High Athletic Awards 2020-2021
Good morning Mr. Kalkus, coaches, families, friends, and student-athletes.
We are privileged to come together today on this happy occasion, to honor the athletes in our community for their talents, sportsmanship, commendable dedication, and perseverance throughout this school year.
Despite the challenges, we have remained determined and resolute. We trained with protective masks, we attended games without fens, we used hand sanitizer a million times. Who would have known that in the midst of all the adversity we would become more unified and focused as a team?
In the midst of all this, we exemplified that the show must go on. And the show did go on. Please join me now in praying.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
Dear Lord,
Thank You for the gifts and the talents You have given my fellow student athletes and me. We pray that we will always recognize what those talents are and what they are for. Thank You for the motivation and drive You have poured into us.
We have persevered in the face of adversity.
Let us continue to encourage and support one another to use our gifk and talents to help us grow and bring joy to others.
Thank you for our coaches, for their continued guidance and leadership.
Thank you for our families that give us unwavering emotional and spiritual support.
Thank you for the lasting friendships we have made with our teammates.
Lastly, God please continue to help us.
Help us to remain humble enough so that we may focus on our gifts and not our shortcomings.
Help us to always recognize our strengths and abilities so that In our confidence, and acceptance of our gifb, we may help others do the same.
