Outdoor Fun
(Children entering 2nd – 6th Grades) Wednesday, July 21, 3:00 p.m. (Rain date: July 28) *Registration begins June 11
Burn off some energy with outdoor games and lots of fun in the sun!

Storytime Outside at the Library
(All ages)
Tuesdays, 11:00 a.m., June 22, July 13, 20 & 27 Thursdays, 11:00 a.m., June 24, July 15, 22 & 29 Bring your lunch and a blanket to the lawn next to
the library (south side) for stories, songs and rhymes. In case of rain, storytime will be canceled.
Take & Make Crafts (All ages)
Mondays through Saturdays (or until supplies are gone), during library hours.
June 21 – July 26
Pick up a craft kit to enjoy at home.
Special Summer
Entertainment
(Registration required, All entertainment programs will be held outside on the south side of the library. Bring your own blanket or chairs for your family.)

Cool Tricks & Funny Stuff

Tuesday, July 13, 6:30 p.m. (Rain date: July 27) *Registration is required and begins June 11* The Cool Tricks and Funny Stuff show features lots of age appropriate humor, amazing magical moments, and plenty of exciting audience participation to fill the
audience with smiles. The colorful props and Chris’ zany personality will guarantee this will be the most talked about program of the summer.
Puppet Show: Animal Tales (All Ages)

For thousands of years, children everywhere have been captivated
and entertained by puppets. Puppets help to bring stories to life for an enriching, yet fun, learning experience. Puppets are also valuable tools for promoting listening skills and vocabulary development. This delightful animal-themed puppet program features a dog, cat, bunny, skunk, peacock, mouse, monkey, panda, turtle, alligator, and others.
Tales about Tails – Howell Nature Center (All Ages)

Wildlife Educators from Howell Nature Center will share the tales of their Wildlife Ambassadors! Meet some wild friends and learn why they call Howell Nature Center home and about their habitats, roles in the ecosystem, and the amazing adaptations that help them survive, including their tails!

Color-Changing Chameleon Sand
Monday, June 21, 6:30 p.m.
Join us to make temperature-sensitive color changing Chameleon Sand. It will be a fun time learning about Thermochromic principals.
Polar Bear Ice Sculptures
Thursday, July 15, 1:00 p.m.
We are going to use supercooling techniques with water to attempt to create instant ice sculptures.

Using thermochromic principles we are going to make color changing slime.
Summer Solar S’mores
Thursday, August 5, 1:00 p.m.
Join us to harness some solar energy to cook a tasty snack. We’ll each create a small solar oven.
