Storytimes
Wee Wednesdays (Babies & Toddlers)
Join Ms. Kim for stories, songs, and fingerplays. New videos will be released on Wednesdays on the website and Facebook. Videos will be available for 30 days.
Preschool Storytime (Preschoolers)
Join Ms. Kerry for stories, songs, and activities. Look for a new link every Thursday on the website and Facebook. Videos will be available for 30 days.
StoryWalk (All ages)
Enjoy our StoryWalk! The StoryWalk begins at the northwest corner of the library parking lot and weaves around Powell Lake Park. Don’t forget to stop and sign the guest book and pick up an activity sheet located in the box at the first station.
Art Explorers (Grades 2 and 3)
Join Mr. Caleb for a fun STEAM activity. Join us as we explore unique picture book art, and try our hand at creating our own fantastic works! Each participant will have their own table and supplies to maintain social distancing. Register in person, online at www.MiOPL.org or by phone at (248) 628-3034.
March: Watercolor Art
Wednesday, March 24, 6:30 p.m. Registration is required and begins March 1. Explore picture books with beautiful watercolor illustrations, and create wonderful watercolor art of your own!
April: Stamping Art
Wednesday, April 21, 6:30 p.m.
Registration is required and begins April 5. Throughout history people have used stamping to create art, and picture books are no exception. Come try your hand at creating stamp art!
