Michigan’s Civil War Battle Flags on Zoom

On July 4, 1866, Michigan veterans of the Civil War reformed their regiments, marched through the streets of Detroit in a grand parade, and handed their treasured battle flags over to the care of the State of Michigan. Curators will discuss the history of the flags and the movement to “Save the Flags.”

Community Reads presents A Virtual Evening with
Derf Backderf on Zoom Thursday November 12, 7:00 - 8:30 PM The Neighborhood Library Association, in conjunction with their Community Reads pick Kent State: Four Dead in Ohio, will host an evening with author Derf Backderf. Registration is required through Novi Public Library’s website and will begin September 8th.
