S on %u2019s pastorsuggested that Dr. Carstens read the Gospelduring the service, but Carstens declined,saying that he wanted to come and just sitthere in the church with everyone else.St. Ann%u2019s Holds AuctionThe Parish of St. Ann and the Holy Trinitywill hold a %u201cGrand Auction%u201d on November 12,to benefit the fund to restore the Church%u2019sCrucifixion window, in memory of JohnHoward and William Howard Melish. Thedecoration theme will be stained glass.Among the items to be auctioned include antiques, a weekend on Lake Champlain, thebuyer%u2019s portrait painted in pastels, and dinner for six.The viewing will start at 5pm, dinner is at6pm, and the auction itself will follow at 8pm,all at 157 Montague Street.
