the importance of tolerance and coexistence in our diverse world.
“Community is a key to communicate on each occasion. And this is the key to
the having a flourishing community,” she said, stressing the need for a
human-centric approach. Commenting on the panel discussions, Al Falasi
redirected his focus to the critical demographic of youth aged 18 to 25, noting
that they are instrumental in instilling values of acceptance.
His emphasised that accepting the opinions and values of others helps shape
a society that values diversity while echoing a commitment to cultivating
tolerance. Advocating for personal responsibility, he stated: “It is very
important to sit and talk to the other person next to you, behind you, in front of
you. Just start that, and once you start, I think 50% of the wrong ideas in your
mind will be gone.” He noted that open dialogue is a powerful tool to dispel
misconceptions.
In his closing remarks, Al Falasi once again emphasised the UAE’s
multicultural harmony and called for greater global conversations, reiterating
the conference’s focus on nurturing a civilisation for future generations with a
focus on global tolerance, dialogue, and understanding.
