The MoU was signed by Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, Group CEO of 7X, and Alexander
Sysoev, Chairman of Urbi. Under the agreement, Urbi will provide 7X and its subsidiaries with
technological support to transform their logistics operations.
The agreement will explore integrating Urbi’s cutting-edge mapping and geospatial technologies
into 7X’s operations, including EMX, Emirates Post and its other entities, as a foundational step
toward a broader initiative.
This includes the development of a comprehensive ‘Base Map’ enriched with detailed information
about residential and business listings, as well as APIs for geocoding and reverse geocoding,
enabling precise customer location for accurate deliveries. Additionally, route optimization based
on URBI’s real-time data will improve efficiency, reduce delivery times, and operational costs.
