UAE’s conservation efforts to take centre stage at COP28

COP28: A global summit for climate change innovation
The UAE’s role goes beyond just organising, providing infrastructure and facilitating the

smooth functioning of the event. The country is also actively involved in shaping the

agenda and steering discussions during the conference, ensuring that key climate-

related issues are addressed.

Further, by showcasing its efforts to tackle climate change, it aims to encourage other

nations to embrace sustainable practices. Through its participation, the UAE also seeks

to actively contribute to the global dialogue on climate action and encourage other

nations to take concrete steps towards a more sustainable future.

The significant recommendations expected to come out of COP28 will play a major role

improve sustainability across a range of industries, including agriculture, transportation

and energy.

Plans at the national and international levels to tackle climate change and carry out the

objectives of international accords will be based on COP28 recommendations.
