His Highness extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh

Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His

Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister

of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and Their Highnesses Sheikhs,

members of the Supreme Council of the Federation, rulers. The Emirates, the people of the
Emirates, and everyone who lives on its land, on this precious national occasion, His

Highness stressed that Flag Day is an opportunity to express unity of ranks and renew

resolve for the advancement of the Emirates and to contribute effectively to building its

renaissance and maintaining its position.

This came on the occasion of the participation of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in the “Flag Day” celebration in the Shindagha area in

Dubai, in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, President of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and member of the Dubai

Council, where His Highness By raising the state flag, in response to the call made by His

Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in the year 2012, to designate the

third day of November of each year to celebrate the flag of the UAE.

His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed said: “On Flag Day, we all stand united
behind the nation’s flag that has reached the ambitions of its children into space, determined

to continue what the founding fathers and grandfathers started. We draw inspiration from
them in the spirit of challenge and determination to continue the blessed march of the Union

and achieve more achievements.” With the help of the youth of the Emirates, under one

leadership and one flag, looking forward together towards a prosperous future in which

future generations will enjoy more means of sophistication, pride and dignity.”

His Highness added: “Every day that the flag of the UAE flies high in all its parts, it
constitutes a symbol of the aspirations of its people, and evidence of the will and

determination to complete the process of union and the unity of the home, visions and

purpose, so that the UAE flag remains a symbol of love and harmony, a symbol of goodness

and peace, and a source of hope wherever it goes.” In all parts of the earth.”

His Highness pointed out, during the celebration organized by the Watani Al-Emarat

Foundation, that the UAE flag has always crowned the UAE’s unprecedented achievements
