The scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah pointed out that the endowment is a great
institution, in which the wisdom of this eternal divine law is evident in establishing the
foundations of cooperation between members of society and caring for the poor and
needy even before they exist. In this world, it is an asset for future generations, and for
those who endow it is an ongoing charity, the reward of which is paid to them. Its
reserves are stored up for them, and that is the sustainability of the benefit. The
Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called it “ongoing charity,”
as it was stated in the authentic hadith: “If the son of Adam dies, his deeds come to an
end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who
prays for him.” », Narrated by Muslim.

He stated that the “Mother’s Endowment” campaign is an innovative initiative and a
distinguished project among the projects of our country, the United Arab Emirates,
which is devised every year by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, so may God reward him well, and may I reward him abundantly for this
initiative. He pointed out that this initiative is an endowment of revenues for the
education of poor male and female students, and a disbursement of wages to mothers.

He added: “Being honorable to one’s parents is one of the most obligatory duties in
religion, whether that is during their lifetime or after their death,” and in the Holy Qur’an,
“And We have enjoined on man to be careful of his parents; Previous mother
mentioned. It was also mentioned in the hadith that “a man came to the Messenger of
God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: O Messenger of God, who is
the most deserving of my good companionship?” He said: Your mother. He said: Then
who? He said: Then your mother. He said: Then who? He said: Then your mother. He
said: Then who? He said: “Then your father.” Islam urged them to be honorable and
reward them in life with good treatment, and after their death with supplication and
charity. He pointed out that this campaign combines types of goodness in honoring
mothers, and spending the proceeds of the endowment for education, especially for
educating the poor around the world who will benefit from it in learning useful
knowledge in their religion and world.

The scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah called on business owners and companies,
and the general community, to participate and contribute in donating to this endowment
seeking the pleasure of God and hoping for His reward, hoping that it will be an ongoing
charity for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and for everyone
who participates in this endowment with little or a lot of money. And a permanent reward
for mothers in the country, God willing. We pray to God for our wise leadership to be
rewarded and rewarded, and for our country to continue stability and prosperity on the
               path of growth and development.
