SALES POLICY
PRICES: Prices quoted are subject to change. All prices are FOB our warehouse (Huntley, IL)
Products are sold in full case quantities only.
TERMS: Terms of NET 20 DAYS are available for qualified customers. Visa, MasterCard, American Express credit cards accepted.
Customers who pay beyond established terms risk being returned to pre-payment status. Invoices more than 60 days past due will incur a finance charge of 1.5% per month.
Any past due invoice(s) must be paid prior to shipping additional orders.
A service charge of $30.00 will be collected for any NSF check. NSF checks or credit card rejections will result in delayed shipment of subsequent orders to allow time for pre-payment to clear.
CREDIT: New customers - to establish credit (open account), please fill out and sign our New Customer Information Form. Please allow 2-4 weeks to establish an open account. All first orders require pre-payment.

SHIPPING: FedEx Ground charges are prepaid and added to your invoice. Repack box charge is $1.50/box. For glass products, there is an additional $1.00 per case charge. FedEx COD charge is $9.00 per order.
Orders shipped exceeding $1,500 will be given a 5% freight allowance. Orders shipped exceeding $3,500 will be shipped freight prepaid to most destinations. Special delivery requirements, such as inside delivery service, liftgate, appointment fees, lumper fees, or redelivery charges will be at the customer’s expense.
Perishable seafood products must be kept cold during shipping. It may be necessary to ship Next Day or 2nd Day Air with insulated boxes and ice packs or via a refrigerated freight service. Insulated boxes are available for $6.00 each and ice packs for $1.00 each.
When temperature is of concern in shipping heat sensitive products (typically during the months
of June, July, August and September), we do offer Next Day Air shipping or refrigerated freight
at an additional cost. Insulated box and ice packs may be needed. Please contact Customer Service at 800-828-7983 with questions related to special shipping charges.
QUALITY A call must be placed within 48 hours of delivery in order to file a claim if you have any CLAIMS: problems with a shipment. No goods may be returned nor credits taken without prior
authorization from Chicago Importing Co. Please do not take invoice deductions without approval.
SHIPPING Upon receipt of goods, you MUST note all discrepancies on the Bill of Lading in order to CLAIMS: make a claim. All freight claims must be filed directly with the trucking company. We will
assist you on your claim, if necessary. Upon receipt of goods via FedEx, please report damages to the FedEx driver.
