Warm air is drawn back into the
WIRC Unit(s), which cools the air
and blows it back into the sealed
cold Aisle Cocoon.
Warm air from the servers enters the hot aisles outside the Aisle Cocoon and is drawn through
the WIRC Units.
The Unit(s) then cool the air and blow it into the sealed cold Aisle Cocoon.
The cold air is then available throughout the whole height and length of the aisle.
With proper airflow control and professional cable management practices, huge savings can be achieved
in air conditioning power consumption.
When correctly employed, Aisle Cocoons may allow floor vents to be reduced and cooling capacity
directed toward other floor areas.
Please ask for details of a cold Aisle Cocoon® to suit your data centre needs.
