Gaprie wins awards for pallet containment net
Gaprie’s P.C.Nets have won the Packaging Innovations award for the EcoPack Challenge 2020, and the PIDA Silver award 2020.
The nets are a reusable alternative to single-use plastic stretch wrap for pallets. According to Gaprie, P.C.Nets are ideal for transporting palletised goods, for storing such goods at heights, and for ensuring employee safety. Using these nets means stretch wrap does not have to be replaced every time a product is taken off a pallet.
P.C.Nets are available in a range of sizes, and they are also able to be customised. They can be deployed quickly and easily by one person because they have elasticated edging. This edging ensures a tight fit around that keeps the product from moving. When deployed, the net is attached to the pallet and will not dislodge during transportation.

Bonfiglioli ups the Industry 4.0 ante
Martin Broglia, managing director for Bonfiglioli ANZ, said the company handles some of the region’s most complex industrial automation demands.

Heat and Control now exclusive agent for Oxipack
Oxipack’s specialist non-destructive leak detection in airtight or vacuum packaging is now available in Australia and New Zealand exclusively through Heat and Control.
The new partnership will leverage Heat and Control’s sales and service infrastructure to sell and support Oxipack equipment. The partnership covers application testing, service, and spare parts.
The partnership will provide easy access to a more complete line solution from a single source and deliver value through combined industry expertise, extensive product offerings, and a robust infrastructure of sales and service departments.
Robert Marguccio, business manager – packaging and inspection systems at Heat and Control, said he was pleased to be aligning with Oxipack.
"This non destructive leak checking technology will enable us to provide a solution to customers that need to check their products for micro leaks,” he said.
