Welcome message from ARBS chair, Ian Hopkins
IN LIGHT OF the global precautions imple- mented around COVID-19 and taking into ac- count the recommendations from the World Health Organization, ARBS announced the 2020 event, which was scheduled to be held in Mel- bourne in May, has been postponed.
We are working on plans to reschedule ARBS exhibition for early 2021 and will announce de- tails and the revised dates when confirmed. (Note this will probably be before this goes to publication so I may have an update here)
In the interim, our team is working on a new approach to enhance ARBS Exhibition’s digital offering. Currently the exhibitor's contact de- tails, operations and product range are available on the ARBS website. The enhanced website will
allow exhibitors to add comprehensive product data including video material to provide a more in depth connection between exhibitors and their customers.
We hope this digital platform provides a meas- ure of stimulation to our industry and supports our exhibitors who were eagerly awaiting the op- portunity to showcase their goods. Stay tuned for further information on this initiative.
I recognise how tough this situation is go- ing to be for many businesses and I do hope that by working together with you the ARBS team can assist you through the trying times and ensure that you are in position to capital- ise on the upswing that will follow the resolu- tion of the crisis.
“I RECOGNISE HOW TOUGH THIS SITUATION IS GOING TO BE FOR MANY BUSINESSES.”
