 VIRTUAL
A hive of activity
WHILE THESE IMAGES from past exhibitions show plenty of activity on the trade show floor, the 2021 ARBS event is expected to the biggest to date.
Incredibly, every ARBS Exhibition for the past 20 years has grown.
Event manager, Sue Falcke, said ARBS is a product of its participants. “Most of our exhibitors have been supporting ARBS since its inception in
1998, largely because they know ARBS presents a fantastic opportunity to communicate to the industry and their customers,” she said.
It isn’t just the visitor numbers that have grown, the event is also expand- ing with the introduction of IBTech@ARBS in 2018.
IBTech@ARBS is a precinct within the exhibition dedicated to the very latest intelligent building technologies.
Innovation is driving the development of new products and solutions for digitised buildings, according to Jon Clarke, head of smart building technol- ogy delivery at Dexus.
“Today we are witnessing key systems with greater integration and con- nectivity,” he said. “This technology will have a major impact in the coming years and is changing how buildings are constructed and managed.”
In such an emerging environment Clarke cites collaboration as being crit- ical to the success and progress of the sector.
“This is exactly what IBTech@ARBS is all about,” he said.
“Exhibitors within IBTech@ARBS embrace this mindset and as a re- sult we are expecting to see some fantastic cutting-edge displays and presentations.’
An exhibitor at the inaugural IBTech@ARBS in 2018 was Conserve It.
Commenting on the success of the concept, Conserve It general manager, Chirayu Shah, everyone that attended knew they were in the business of smart buildings.
“This led to meaningful conversations, good connections and some really good, solid leads,” he said.
