ONE
MUSIC.
ONE
LICENCE.
Music licensing has changed for the better. In the next few months fashion businesses will receive step-by-step information on how to transition from the two-licence system of APRA AMCOS and PPCA to the simpler one-licence system of OneMusic Australia.
For the first time ever, there’s an e-commerce website so you can log-in, transact online and review all your music use details in one place, at any time of the day or night.
Fashion outlets will enjoy enormous benefits from:
• a huge cut in red tape and admin time - you’ve been asking for it!
• new background music fees - with packages starting at $85
• easy add-on options for telephone on hold and website music
• legal access to a worldwide collection of music
What next? The advance information about OneMusic Australia will be rolled out to coincide with your renewal date. In the meantime contact hello@onemusic.com.au or visit our website.

EDITOR’S NOTE
Let’s come together
IT’S OFTEN HARD to plan around the unknown.
And there’s nothing more uncertain right now than COVID-19, the global pandemic no trend forecaster saw coming.
In these times, how does one definitively predict cashflow, supply chain movements and the wellbeing of workers and consumers?
If retail wasn’t hard enough, it just got harder.
We believe that knowledge should be at the centre of all decision-mak- ing. It is in this spirit we have dedicated a good portion of this issue to on-the-ground coverage.
From factory floors in China, to retail floors in Australia, prepare to learn how businesses are responding to the threat of this novel virus.
We too have had to adapt and innovate.
Our flagship conference in May, set to be staged at with our friends at Facebook HQ, has now been moved to September 23.
Our first Brisbane conference, scheduled to take place in the same month, has been allocated a September 9 setting.
Following your lead, we want to ensure the health and safety of our valued delegates and sponsors first.
In the meantime, my team and I are hard at work growing our digital and print products for the year.
It is without doubt that information has never had a higher premium.
Who’s doing what and why? What do the experts think? What is the government doing to assist businesses?
We’re starting right here right now, with this edition. Our online platform www.ragtrader.com.au will also provide breaking coverage.
If you want to send me your stories, please contact me via assia@yaffa.com.au.
It’s often hard to plan around the unknown. But plan together, we can.
