X-RAY INSPECTION
Ishida X-ray inspection systems ensure a thorough inspection of your product for the full spectrum of foreign bodies at unrivalled sensitivity levels.
Advanced diagnostic imaging eliminates the background effect caused by the product itself and improves the detection of low-density contaminants such as bone and glass fragments.
ISHIDA inspection systems from Heat and Control assure precise, consistent detection and rejection of product containing foreign objects.

HEAT AND CONTROL put an Ishida X-ray machine for finished products through its paces on its stand at AUSPACK.
The Ishida IX Series X-ray machine is part of a range that has been designed for small businesses as it balances strong sensitivity with lower operating costs, according to sales executive Phillip Garro.
“The IX-EN series is the en- try-level, economical series for small to medium-sized busi- nesses,” he said. “We have a low-energy generator, which promotes a longer lifespan at a lower running cost, but still re- tains a high sensitivity level.”
In a demonstration for PKN publisher Lindy Hughson, the machine detected a spherical metal ball at a size of just 0.5mm inside a packet of muesli.
Also on the stand were CEIA metal detectors, which Garro described as a superior product.
“People may not have heard the CEIA brand, but they might have walked through it – CEIA provides just about ev- ery walk-through metal detec- tor globally,” he said.
Garro said the Heat and Con- trol stand was a “one-stop shop” for inspection machinery.
“What we provide is high- quality, high-sensitivity, reli- able equipment,” he said. ■
