A feature will be a dedicated Textile Production Workshop, where experts from multiple exhibitors will join together to demonstrate a complete teardrop banner workflow, with experts on hand
to discuss both the process involved, and the many and varied opportunities for businesses considering adding textile printing to their repertoire. Hexis will also be running wrap demonstrations on the Saturday, giving visitors ‘hands-on’ experience of how decorative surfaces can create high-value products across
many categories.
Industry associations will also be heavily involved in the expo. Visual Connections, the leading association for suppliers in the print, graphics and signage industries, is organising the show, and Conference hosts ASGA and FESPA Australia will also have plenty of people on hand on the show floor.
CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE
The 2020 HP Awards for Excellence will be presented at a Gala Dinner that night, with awards to be presented in a range of categories that cover everything from wide-format print, to soft signage, illuminated and structural signs, wayfaring and directional signage, and traditional brushwork. There are also categories for businesses and individuals, making the night a true recognition
of excellence.
“The Awards have really established their place as the industry’s ‘night of nights’, and are always a wonderful opportunity to recognise and reward the achievements of our industry businesses and to come together and celebrate the vital and exciting role this sector plays in so many facets of life in this country,” says Punch.
A special ‘Recovery Breakfast’ has been scheduled for the following morning to ease guests gently into the weekend, which also provides another opportunity to visit the Visual Impact Expo.
The setting for the Conference, in one of Australia’s most iconic locations, is also expected to be a drawcard, providing an ideal chance for business owners to build in a ‘mini-break’ on the beautiful and exciting Gold Coast.
Those intending to attend the expo, Conference or Awards Dinner can use the same, simple online system via the Visual Impact registration panel at www.visualimpact.org.au to enter their details and select the registration option which best suits.
