Future industry leaders hailed at NPAs
The LIA has celebrated its star young people, with Jonathan
Pitt of Multi-Color
Corporation and Nicole Danger of Chapel Press taking the top prizes in the LIA/Heidelberg Graduates Awards.
The state winners flew in from all over the country to attend the big night at the Naional Print Awards, with Mel Ireland, national president of the LIA, praising them for their hard work and entrepreneurial spirit, and hailing them as the future of the industry.
Nicole Danger of Victoria’s Chapel Press took home the Future Leader Award, while Jonathan Pitt of Multi- Color Corporation in South Australia claimed the Visual Connections/LIA National Graduate Scholarship Prize.
The LIA awards are given every year in each mainland
state, and every two years the state winners are flown to the institute’s national conference.
The $15,000 National Graduate Scholarship Prize is awarded after deliberation by a panel of industry judges.
